Elizabeth Area Development Corporation
The Elizabeth Area Development Corporation (EADC) is a local 501c3 non-profit organization working to revitalize historic Downtown Elizabeth along the Monongahela River. EADC focuses on revitalization and business development though river recreation, arts, heritage, historic preservation, and special event activities.
Over the last few years, several activities and other accomplishments have taken place in Downtown Elizabeth with local and regional partners. Here is just a sample:

- Participation with Allegheny Together and Mon River Town Program
- Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation Historic District designation
- Hosting Sounds Like Summer Plum Street Concert Series
- Adding streetscape improvements on Plum Street and Second Streets
- Installing a Friends of the Riverfront Kayak Launch
- Listed 4 sites as Young Preservationists Association Top Ten Preservation Opportunities
- Grand Theater, Moose Lodge, Old Cemetery, and Ekin House (also named to 2017 Preservation PA's State Endangered List)
- Adding a new murals to the business district
